With the La Aroma del Caribe Mi Amor Valentino, Ashton not only ventures into Nicaraguan territory again, but also tries out the processing of a previously rarely used wrapper. The dark, slightly oily wrapper is grown from Caribbean seeds in the San Andrés Valley in Mexico and gives the Toro Gordo its very own aromatic note. In connection with a blend of exquisite Nicaraguan tobaccos in the filler and binder, spicy aromas of coffee and nuts with a sweet note reminiscent of nougat and a fine hint of vanilla develop during the smoke, which lasts up to one and a half hours. The strong long filler burns straight down and is also optimal in its draw behavior.
